Does look bloody clean now you mention it! Cleaned my Ibiza for the first time in months yesterday...inside and out! Shocking eh! Not sure what plan is for Sunday, DH at Foel was mentioned but my bikes still covered in clay from Bringewood last weekend, its proper baked on every bit of the frame, if the suspension pivots still move I'll be shocked! Keep toying with the idea of a new frame myself, your Whyte looks like a good un, just can't part with the old Cove!

Can't remember, all I know is that swapping from dual ply's to singles made a hell of a difference in terms of getting the bike moving, it just felt a lot snappier, once your up to speed I don't think it really matters so much but unless your in the Alps when does that happen, it's all short burst of speed in the UK. Still undecided on the tyre front myself, may get a Racing Ralph 2.1 for the rear and a Nobby Nic for the front for the G-Spot, probably looking at another 1.5lbs off the total weight....could I get her down to a 30lb'r! Being a weight weenie is addictive as crack once you've started, think I need to join Weight Weenie's Anonymous to kerb the habit!

Would save another 140g if you stepped over to the dark side and got some 2.25 Scwalbes.....

Might as well get the ultra mags mate, mine are holding up well so far.

Probably looking more like a 2lb saving, I think the Exo casing Maxxis are similar to the Evo Scwalbe so say 850g for those Vs 1250g for Minion Dual Ply's. I'm thinking of changing my tyres out on the Cove, looking at some 2.1 Scwalbe Nobby Nic's for less rolling resistance and another lb saving over the Wicked Wills I've been running for ages.
